Supports production group by efficient sustaining of equipments inrespective functional area.

In your new role you will:

- Supports production group by efficient sustaining of equipment in the respective functional area.
- Support technology and production goals by assisting in tool startup & qualification tests.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

- Provide line support for equipment setup, recovery & corrective maintenance to meet KPIs defined in the respective functional area
- Perform Preventive Maintenance (PM) and complete PM documentation as required (e-checklist & TECO)
- Ensure compliance to 5S, Cleanroom & Safety Protocol
- Support the Tools installation as being required
- Troubleshoot equipment failures, identify the root cause, and perform corrective action to bring equipments up to support production/
- Plan & execute projects to improve Overall EquipmentEfficiencies(Speed/Cost/Quality)
- Train junior technicians to improve skills & competencies for line sustaining activities
- Guide & lead shift technicians to meet KPIs defined in their respective functional areas.
- Increase in responsibilities, as well as depth and breadth with the competency level of the tasks, executed and technical expertise acquired through professional experience on the job according to the targeted role.
- Contributes to the accuracy of quality in the area and can therefore impact closely related work teams.
- Work as a team member of an integrated team to maximise tool availability and process yield.
- Must be able to understand priorities of work in progress.
- Requires working with toxic gases/chemicals, high voltage, and mechanical hazards with respective personal protective equipment
- Identify safety requirements including lockout / tagout, and write required procedures.
- Tracks and analyses spare & consumables usage to ensure availability forproduction support.
- Solves known problems using basic troubleshooting skills and can function independently in specified areas.
- Provides on-the-job training to new team members.

In our wafer production in Kulim we are producing more than 100.000 wafer each month.
