**JOB SUMMARY**

Responsible for ensuring that the School and Services meet the needs of the school community, including:
a) Security & Safety [SERT]

b) Space Management

c) Cleaning and Maintenance of the building

d) Project management

**Range of Duties**:
1. Being a member of the SERT and performing and preparing necessary safety measurements for school.

2. To be responsible for complying with all local and state safety requirements for the building including school members training, facility inspections and security of the School.

3. To make sure that all of the School premises are properly maintained and kept in good working order.

4. To be responsible for the cleanliness of the property, making sure that any vending or catering that takes place on premises meets code requirements, and managing the space in the building so that it is used efficiently.

5. To manage the operational costs and to search out ways to cut costs while adequately maintaining the School premises.

6. Daily management of the out-sourced school members.

7. To develop and implement the out-sourced school members schedules and deal with any minor problems that arise between members.

8. Typically is responsible for the management, administration and supervision of the company’s acquisition programs.

9. To create a budget for all expenditures from your department and work throughout the year to keep costs within the budgeted amount, making adjustments on an emergency basis.

10. To make sure that the School is budgeting effectively and that every expenditure works toward creating a more efficient work environment.

11. Coordinate multiple projects, renovation or refurbishments. Lead and support to the operations Coordination on major projects.

12. Ensuring efficiency of all building systems. Plan for upgrades and enhancement of the system. This includes:

- Preparing operating reports and budgets, cost estimates and obtaining quotations from vendors for renovation projects, moves and equipment.
- Planning timeline for renovations to ensure mínimal interruption/disruption to academic calendar/student learning
- Coordinating with department heads and building contractors and managing all vendors contracts.
- Preparing and filing reports with government and regulatory authorities including environmental permitting
- Planning building maintenance and operational programs, coordinating site safety programs
- Ensuring all processes and compliance programs are met in accordance to company SOP
- Ensuring facilities planning and space allocation are updated, ensuring all utility systems are inspected and in accordance with regulations.

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- At least 3 to 5 years of facilities management or engineering related work experience and knowledge.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of stakeholders.
- Ability to work in and lead teams with good time management, decision making, problem solving, working under pressure.
- A creative, resourceful, customer focused and result oriented person, IT Skills and Leadership Skills.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month

Schedule:
