- Review step file, 2D / 3D CAD design blueprints, prepare stable and efficient CNC machining programs
- Makes calculations for programming including where materials should be cut.
- Translates instructions into a computer automated manufacturing (CAM) program.
- Checks completed programs by running simulations or tests.
- Prepares geometric layout of design using proper software.
- Tool selection and tool sheet/ setup sheet preparation.
- Maintain tool list library for future review.
- Determines sequence of operations in a program.
- Analyses job order and performs necessary calculations.
- Writes programs and modifies existing ones for increased efficiency.
- Analyses and select speeds and cutting tools for programs.
- Makes improvements to set up times for a task and contouring of complex shapes.
- Simplifies tooling time for workers and increases productivity for the client.
- Evaluates all completed designs to validate their functions and ensure they successfully reduce time and cost.
- Monitors all programs to make sure they follow blueprint instructions and safely and successfully complete the task.
- Participate or initiative continuous improvements.
- Provides training for setter/ machinist.
- Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise.
- Able to work or stand by extended hours.
- Any other job assigns by immediate supervisors.

**Job requirements**:

- At least diploma or degree in related field.
- At least 5 years’ experience in precision machining industries
- Experience programming of 3, 4 & 5 Axis CNC milling machine.
- Well verse in G-code and computer aided manufacturing. (CAM) software.
- Familiarity and skill with interpreting technical drawings and blueprint.
- Well verse in geometric (GD & T).
- Ability to work independently and closely follow directions is essential.
- Team player & passionate about work

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,500.00 per month
