**Data Analysis and Interpretation**: Analyzing spatial data to identify patterns, trends, and relationships. This involves using GIS software to generate maps and reports, which can be used for decision-making in various fields such as urban planning, environmental management, and public health.

**Quality Control**: Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of GIS data through rigorous quality control procedures. This may involve cross-checking data against source documents or field verification.

**Technical Support and Training**: Providing technical support to GIS users and potentially training staff in the use of GIS software and tools.

**Collaboration and Communication**: Working closely with other professionals like urban planners, engineers, and environmental scientists. They must communicate complex geographical information in an understandable way to stakeholders and decision-makers.
