We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented R&D Chemist to play a vital role in our product development and innovation team. The R&D Chemist will contribute to the formulation, testing, and optimization of health food products in various dosage forms, helping us bring innovative and high-quality products to the market.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the internal team to formulate and develop health food products in different dosage forms.
- Conduct laboratory experiments, tests, and analyses to optimize product formulations for quality, stability, and efficacy.
- Participate in prototype development, ensuring that products meet desired sensory, nutritional, and functional attributes.
- Assist in evaluating and selecting raw materials, ensuring they meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Document and maintain accurate records of experiments, procedures, and results.
- Assist in the scale-up and manufacturing process, collaborating with contract manufacturers and suppliers.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, scientific advancements, and regulatory changes related to health food product development.
- Support the team in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues that may arise during product development.Work closely with marketing and regulatory teams to ensure accurate product claims and compliance with labeling requirements.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Food Science, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in health food product development.
- Strong understanding of chemistry, formulation principles, and analytical techniques relevant to food products.
- Hands-on experience with laboratory equipment and techniques for formulation and testing.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Ipoh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
