Driver Trainer

**Working Location**

111,Jalan MEC 1, Bandar MEC, Gambang, 26300 Pahang Malaysia
- Visible leadership and participation in all HSSE programs and activities
- Assist management in the preparation of HR paperwork
- Assist within the country team environment on ad-hoc tasks as required.
- Maintain positive relationships with customers to facilitate achievements of objectives and targets.
- Deal effectively with queries from both internal and external customers.
- Timely, accurate preparation of documents.
- Identify improvements in systems and methods that will lead to increases in productivity and /or reduction in costs.
- Maintaining training requirements for all levels.
- Develop employees to maximize their potential.
- Facilitate regular, balanced assessment and feedback to employees
- Ensure understanding and compliance with Linfox policies.
- Maintain positive relationships with managers, colleagues and external contacts
- Ensure compliance with Linfox Fatigue Management Policies and Practices.
- Conduct performance reviews with direct reports monthly.
- Update each driver’s file & others records
- Induct, train, educate & coach drivers
- Conduct refresh trainings & re-assess drivers annually (100%)
- Conduct remedial training & re-assess driver as needed
- Communicate safety rules to drivers
- Assess driver performance (new drivers 6 months & existing driver yearly)
- Encourage near miss, PI, UAA submission from drivers
- Assist in incident/accident investigation & analyses
- Responsible for annual driver medical check compliance
- Update driver license & permit file
- To monitor OBC violations
- Conduct D & A test & keep records monthly
- Toolbox in person (85% attendance achieve)
- Co-ordinate with customers trainers on activities
- DDT (Refresher, Remedial, New hiring)
- In Cab Assessment
- 2 Assessment / Update every Monday
- Toolbox session
- Driver Training Database Update
- Drivers Risk analysis database - Weekly
- Executing IPO, Near Miss, Unsafe act & behaviour, Hazards tracking and update - Weekly
- OBC Violations report
- Weekly

**Job Requirement**

This position requires:

- Strong vehicle operation knowledge
- Strong interpersonal, training, coaching, motivating skills
- Knowledge of SHE
- Familiar in labor relation rules & regulation
- Computer literate
- A sound knowledge and experience of the Transport Industry.
- Ability to organize workflow and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Have strong communication skills.
- Ability to work well when in a pressure situation.
- Have excellent negotiation, people management and motivational skills.
- An understanding of the Dangerous Goods regulations.
- Sound working knowledge of specialized fleet equipment requirements.
- High level of maturity, discretion and judgment
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate with a variety of people at different levels both internally and externally
- Eye for detail and accuracy

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
