Buyer (Maternity Cover)

Implement materials requisition plan, coordinate with vendors to ensure timely manufacturing material supply while managing the inventory to the optimal level.
- Maintain well the purchase order, follow it up till its closure in payment. Be proactive in providing resolutions to issue.
- Maintain the up-to-date item master into Navision system, e.g. price, order quantity, delivery date, lead time etc.
- Manage the suppliers and evaluate vendor performance on a regular basis.
- Implement all relevant policies and procedures associated with purchasing.
- Optimize the supply base and continuous drive to localize the parts.
- Handle non-conformance cases, likewise quality problem, in conjunction the other departments. Coordinate the other departments to continuous improve the suppliers’ performance.
- Implement and monitor Key Performance Indicators, measuring results and achievements.

**Job Types**: Contract, Temporary
Contract length: 4-5 months

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
