Job Responsibilities : -To perform regular quality measurements on all incoming materials from vendors and to all the outgoing products for shipping. -Reject all products and materials that fails to meet quality requirements. -To Interpret blueprints, manufacturing drawings, plans and specifications, work instructions to understand the requirements of products and services. -To measure all products’ dimensions, examine functionality and compare the final product with the product specifications and requirements until satisfied. -To recommend improvements to the production process and to ensure quality control. -To document inspection results by completing detailed reports and performance records. -To teach production team on quality control, concerns and to improve product excellence. -To monitor the production process and decide on quality-related issues immediately. -To prepare and submit reports to the quality manager, determining the actual cause of product defects, perform rework and always ensure to avoid rework in future. -To check that the assembly or production line adheres to standards and procedures and complying with legal requirements -To maintain measurement equipment that operates accurately by following calibration standards and arrange for repairs. Always verify all equipment are calibrated correctly. -To collect and compile statistical quality data. -To assist in the development of test methods and inspection plans. -To verify all processes are ready with quality standards as per customers’ requirements. Basic Requirements : Education, Skills and Experience : -A Diploma holder or equivalent qualification. -Certification in Quality Control is preferred. -Min. of 3 years’ experience as quality inspector or relevant role. -Impressive knowledge in computer especially with MS Office skills. -Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques. -Responsible, trustworthy and a collaborator among the staff. -Good written, documentation skills, reporting skills and verbal communication skills. -Ability to use measuring devices like gauges, meters, calipers and micrometers. -Comfortable working while standing or walking for extended period of time. -In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures and standards.
