Waste Water Treatment Technician

Responsible to operate and maintaining the De-ionized Water Plant (RODI), Waste Water Treatment Plant (WWTP), Sanitary Treatment Plant (STP) and Coolant Filtration Plant.
- Ensure that the operation and maintain all the system equipment are in good condition and running as per specification.
- To perform regular maintenance and help troubleshoot for the facilities support equipment including Chemical & Gas Distribution System, Heating, and Ventilating Air Conditioning (HVAC), Compressed Dry Air system (CDA), Scrubber System, UPS, exhaust system and other facilities equipment.
- Perform trouble shooting and corrective maintenance whenever there is breakdown or abnormal operation. Immediately report to superior if has any problem.
- To ensure the machines and equipment in the factory are well maintained, in good operating condition and function at the required standard.
- Ensure treated discharge water is within the regulatory specification.
- Carry out daily routine inspection and monitoring for WWTP reading in the log sheet and Carry out preventive maintenance on all the related equipment according to the schedule.
- Keep track of the spare parts, chemicals and consumables inventory and request for replenishment whenever required and responsible in ensuring all tools, consumables were kept and use correctly and always in good condition.
- Monitor and ensure chemicals and consumables stock are adequate and monitor the consumptions, dosing rate and adjust it to suit the plant operation accordingly.
- Responsible to housekeeping in WWTP area.
- Any other jobs/tasks as assigned by superior

REQUIREMENTS:

- Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- Possess 2 - 3 years working experience in waste & water facilities management in electronics industry and preferably with experience in machine assembly environment which includes project handling (install and start-up) and management
- Familiar with WWT and Filter Press operation.
- Familiar with UPS, HVAC / Mechanical system such as chiller, AHU/ MAU/ FCU, Electrical pumps, process water system, Clean room, Exhaust, Chemicals and Gases.

**Salary**: RM2,000.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
