The Videographer plays a critical role within the Marketing Department, responsible for creating high-quality video content that effectively communicates the brand's message, engages the target audience, and supports marketing campaigns. This role involves conceptualizing, filming, editing, and producing a wide range of video content for various marketing channels and platforms.
**Roles and Responsibilities**:
- **Video Production**:
- Conceptualize and storyboard video ideas that align with marketing objectives, brand identity, and target audience preferences.
- Capture high-quality video footage using professional cameras, lighting, audio equipment, and accessories.
- Direct and coach talent or interviewees to ensure authentic performances and effective communication of key messages.
- **Editing and Post-Production**:
- Edit raw video footage into polished and cohesive final products using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Enhance videos with color correction, audio mixing, visual effects, motion graphics, and other editing techniques to achieve desired aesthetics and storytelling impact.
- Incorporate brand elements, logos, and graphics into videos while maintaining brand consistency and visual identity.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to review and refine video drafts based on feedback and project requirements.
- **Content Development**:
- Develop diverse video content formats tailored to specific marketing goals and platforms, including promotional videos, product demos, testimonials, tutorials, behind-the-scenes footage, event coverage, and social media stories.
- Adapt video content for different distribution channels and formats, optimizing for mobile viewing, social media engagement, and search engine visibility.
- Stay updated on video trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in digital video production to inform content strategy and creative execution.
- **Equipment Maintenance and Management**:
- Maintain and organize video production equipment, including cameras, lenses, tripods, microphones, lighting kits, and accessories.
- Ensure equipment is properly set up, calibrated, and maintained for optimal performance and safety during shoots.
- Monitor inventory of video production supplies and accessories, replenishing as needed and managing expenses within budgetary constraints.
- **Collaboration and Communication**:
- Collaborate with the Marketing team, creative directors, graphic designers, copywriters, and other stakeholders to align video content with overall marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, producers, and clients to understand project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
- Provide creative input, offer suggestions, and brainstorm ideas for video content that resonates with the target audience and achieves marketing objectives.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
