Overview

Hong Leong Bank's Sustainability Division as the frontline of driving sustainable practices for the Bank that acts as the main coordinator and enabler of the Bank’s sustainability efforts by identifying, strategizing, measuring, and mitigating climate action plans and targets while advocating for greener financing solutions and a low-carbon economy.

Job Responsibilities
- ESG Project _Management_- Develop and Monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for each sustainability initiative related to sustainable supply chain, energy efficiency & conservation (EE&C) measures, resource management and performance management (targets against results);- Ensure alignment of sustainability initiatives to corporate strategy;- Report performance to the relevant divisions for discussion and for execution improvement;- Conduct strategic review and peer benchmarking for sustainability initiatives for industry comparison and analysis.

Job Requirement- Malaysian citizen.- Degree-level qualifications in climatology, applied climatology, environmental science, environmental geology or a related discipline.- 5 year experience and above in climate-related fields, climate finance, sustainable finance, banking, environmental science, environmental geology or a similar field.- Strong technical proficiency in the sciences, with a solid understanding of climate change and environmental risk assessment and mitigation strategies.- Excellent communication skills to effectively advocate for environmentally responsible strategies and engage stakeholders.
