As a Clinic Assistant, you will play a significant role in supporting the smooth operation of a clinic. Your primary responsibility will be to assist healthcare professionals in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the efficient functioning of the clinic. You will perform various administrative tasks, handle patient inquiries, maintain medical records, and facilitate the flow of patients within the clinic.
- **Responsibilities**:_
- Greet patients upon arrival, check them in, and guide them through the registration process.
- Take and record patients' vital signs, medical history, and other relevant information accurately.
- Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures, including preparing examination rooms and ensuring they are properly stocked with necessary supplies.
- Handle incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information to patients regarding clinic services, appointment availability, and general healthcare inquiries.
- Schedule appointments for patients, either over the phone or in person, and manage the appointment calendar efficiently.
- Process patient payments, verify insurance coverage, and maintain accurate billing records.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the reception area, waiting room, and other public areas of the clinic.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as photocopying documents, scanning files, and ordering office supplies.
- Collaborate effectively with other clinic staff members, including nurses, physicians, and administrative personnel, to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
- Follow established protocols and procedures to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- **Requirements**:_
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in healthcare administration is a plus.
- No experience and qualification needed. Training will be provided.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using computerized systems for scheduling appointments, managing electronic medical records, and performing basic administrative tasks.
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards patients, with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings or weekends, as required by the clinic's operating hours.
- Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.

**Salary**: RM1,800.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
