**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Develop robust and scalable backend systems using Laravel 9, ensuring high performance and reliability.
- Implement server-side logic and work on server configuration and optimisation.
- Design, develop and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless communication between frontend and backend components.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services, such as Google Places, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Zoloz eKYC, AlibabaCloud services and SMS through AlibabaCloud.
- Design and optimize database structures for efficient data storage and retrieval
- Work with SQL databases and Laravel’s Eloquent ORM for data manipulation.
- Write clean, well-documented, and optimised code to enhance the maintainability and performance of the backend systems.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and other team members.

**Job Skills and Knowledge Requirements**:

- Proficiency in Laravel 9 framework, with a strong understanding of its features and capabilities.
- Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs for effective communication between frontend and backend
- Strong knowledge of SQL database and experience with Laravel’s Eloquent ORM.
- Experience in integrating and working with various third-party APIs and servicesm including Google Places, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Zoloz eKYC, Alibaba Cloud services and SMS (AlibabaCloud)
- Proficiency in using version control systems, such as Git.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-2 years experiences will be added advantage.

**Salary**: RM3,500.00 - RM4,200.00 per month
