**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Assist in planning and carrying out infection control programs pertaining to infection control precautions, surveillance, reporting, and investigations.
- Assist in planning and carrying out infection control audits hospital-wide to improve infection control processes in the hospital.
- Assist in planning and carrying out orientation and in-service programs to all relevant staff pertaining to infection control issues.
- Performs daily surveillance of all clinical areas to identify cases for infection control and check on practices of infection control.
- Initiate protocols and relevant actions so as to improve infection control within the hospital.
- Advise and propose necessary actions/staff health programs pertaining to infection control to relevant personnel internally or externally.
- Follow-up on issues of infection control so as to completely solve problems.
- Assist the head of the department in infection control issues when needed.
- Member of the infection control nursing committee and participates actively in the infection control sub-committee.
- Acts as a resource person pertaining to infection control issues.
- Liaise closely with Infection Control Senior Manager and Sub-committee Chairperson.
- Actively participates in departments and hospitals’ goals and objectives.
- Maintain all relevant records orderly for easy referencing.
- Updates all records and maintains confidentiality where appropriate.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- At least a Diploma in Nursing.
- Registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board with a valid Annual Practicing Certificate (LJM & APC).
- Post Basic Specialty Certificate/Advanced Diploma in Infection Control.
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in a hospital/healthcare setting.
- Able to work independently and as a team with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to promote the philosophy of continuous quality improvement.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
