Logistics Sea-freight Internship

As an intern at Canvas Global Logistics, you will gain **valuable hands-on experience and develop a strong foundation** in the sea-freight logistics industry.

You will have the opportunity to assume a variety of entry level responsibilities. Most importantly, your job is to **learn and grow**.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Assisting the sea-freight team in managing and coordinating shipments, including both Full Container Load (FCL) and Less than Container Load (LCL) cargo.
- Supporting the booking process by liaising with carriers and obtaining competitive rates.
- Assisting with the preparation of shipping documentation, such as bills of lading and commercial invoices.
- Learning and utilising sea-freight software systems to track and monitor shipments.
- Collaborating with internal teams, such as customer service and operations, to ensure smooth and timely cargo movements.
- Conducting research and analysis on sea-freight market trends, competitor activities, and industry regulations.
- Assisting in the identification and evaluation of potential business opportunities in the sea-freight sector.
- Providing administrative support, including data entry, filing, and organising documentation.
- Assisting in the resolution of customer inquiries, addressing concerns, and providing updates on shipment status.
- Participating in team meetings and training sessions to enhance your understanding of sea-freight operations and industry best practices.
- Throughout the internship, you will receive guidance and mentorship from experienced professionals in the sea-freight field, allowing you to develop essential skills and gain valuable insights into the logistics industry.

We open this internship position to any students who has completed their **SPMs, Diplomas **or **Degrees.** Having Microsoft Office skills would be a bonus.
