Translator - Merchandising

**Responsibilities**:

- SUMMARY Translates from English-Spanish-English or English-Portuguese-English all automotive content residing in Z-net and websites, including: fitment notes, product attributes, product and services banners, promotional information, trustworthy advice, etc. Also translates other documents as directed. Supports other areas of the organization, like Store Communications, HR, E-Commerce, Commercial, etc. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Translates all automotive content for Z-Net and the websites including: fitment notes, product attributes, banners, promotional information, trustworthy advice, etc.
- Researches new sources of translation aids, for example: vendor and manufacturer's websites, glossaries, dictionaries, etc. Conducts informal surveys with AZ stores personnel about terminology.
- Translates documents as requested, examples: data entry instructions, commercial materials, e-commerce webpage, deals and promotions, manuals, etc.
- Maintains and improves the Translation Memories, and the AZ Multilingual Dictionary.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.
- Area of Study: Foreign languages.
- Years of Experience: One to two years.
- Type of Experience: Translator, editor, language teacher.
- Special Certifications or Technical Skills: TOEFL (English-Spanish), CELPE-BRAS (English-Portuguese), great knowledge in automotive terminology, computer skills, CAT tools (Trados).
- Other/Preferred: Excellent communication skills. Knowledge of graphical computer softwares like Photshop is a plus. Able to perform simultaneous translation.
