Pantry Helper/waitress

Roots by Kebun Kota is a café-restaurant in Kuantan, Pahang, Malaysia. The café operates on the principle that sustainability is an attitude. Thus, we encourage sustainable practices in all throughout our management and operational chain. We sell food and beverage products made from locally and organically grown produce. Besides that, we also help local entrepreneurs sell their handmade products as part of our vendor scheme. Full-time barista needed at Roots by Kebun Kota cafe.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Prepare a variety of coffee drinks and other beverages according to recipes, SOP's, quality standards, presentation standards and preparation checklists.
- Prepare a variety of pantry food items according to recipes, SOP's, quality standards, presentation standards and preparation checklist.
- Monitor food safety and quality while preparing food.
- Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, juicers and other kitchen equipment.
- Assist in the general cleaning of the kitchen.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including clearing tables and resetting them for the next customers.

**REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 1-2 years work experience as a barista preferred
- Individuals with no experience but are willing to learn are also welcome
- Knowledgeable and highly interested in coffee making
- Self driven, motivated, team player
- Able to work under mínimal supervision

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: From RM1,500.00 per month
