Quran Teacher

Al-Hamra Integrated School is seeking a dedicated and qualified Quran Teacher to join our faculty. As a Quran Teacher, you will be responsible for providing religious education and teaching the Quran to students in an engaging and meaningful way. You will play a vital role in helping students develop a strong understanding and appreciation of the Quran's teachings.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and deliver lessons on the recitation, memorization, and interpretation of the Quran.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters students' love for the Quran.
- Teach students how to recite the Quran with proper pronunciation and Tajweed rules.
- Help students memorize selected surahs and understand their meanings.
- Encourage active participation and discussion among students during Quranic lessons.
- Assess students' progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Work collaboratively with other teachers and staff to integrate Quranic teachings across the curriculum.
- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding students' progress and areas of improvement.
- Stay updated with advancements in Quranic studies and teaching methodologies.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in related field (a degree in Education is a plus).
- Strong knowledge of the Quran, Tajweed rules, and Islamic teachings.
- Excellent recitation skills with proper Tajweed and fluency in Arabic.
- Previous experience teaching the Quran to students, preferably in an educational institution.
- Ability to engage and motivate students of different ages and backgrounds.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to create a supportive learning environment.
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written) is preferred.

**Salary**: RM2,400.00 - RM3,300.00 per month
