Planner Eletrikal

Under the direction of the Senior Maintenance Planner, the Electrical Planner is responsible for creating and executing an effective short and long range electrical maintenance plan as per the Kinross Way for managing all electrical maintenance.

The Electrical Maintenance Planner will ensure that all processes and procedures are followed and adhered to as per the Kinross Way. This position also ensures that the material and resources are available and also communicates this information with all concerned parties in Maintenance and Operations. This work is critical to the success of the overall mine operations in general.

The Electrical Maintenance Planner will monitor the process of identifying work and regularly provide integrity feedback and statistics for their planning area and calculate Key performance indicators in accordance with the Kinross Way.

Job Responsibilities

Develop a progressive electrical maintenance plan that ensures production goals meet or exceed required Targets.

Maintain up to date electrical maintenance history for all assigned assets.

Schedule work orders related to routine maintenance (predictive and preventive) and corrective maintenance, identifying and securing the required resources (maintainers, materials, spare parts, tools, instruments and equipment), time involved, safety recommendations, procedures and technical information.

Monitor and control the backlog.

Develop and validate with operations the weekly maintenance schedule.

Open and close all scheduled work orders.

Develops a long and short range work plan.

Analyze the deviations reported by maintenance supervisors, identifying the causes and propose corrective actions to minimize and / or update maintenance plans.

Ensure bill of materials (BOM’s) and associated part lists (APL’s) are updated regularly, based on OEM suppliers and maintenance personnel.

Maintain a high commitment to personal safety and integrity of the environment and equipment during the planning of work orders.

Coordinate the activities of Parts Coordinators to ensure alignment with planning, scheduling, execution and Supply Chain.

Recommend the updating of the maintenance guidelines in accordance with information provided by maintenance supervisors and supplies (materials, parts and times).

Compliance with all company policies and procedures including but not limited to safety, confidentiality and environmental policies.

Schedule all planned jobs in accordance with operational plans.

Ensure that all parts and materials are ordered and staged in a timely manner.

Produces standard jobs, preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance tasks and schedules for equipment.

Maintain 80% planned work versus 20% unplanned work for the Electrical maintenance planning group

Ensure a presence in the Field by performing weekly Electrical Inspection’s and Task observations
