Hseq Executive

HEALTH, SAFETY, ENVIRONMENT & QUALITY (HSEQ) EXECUTIVE

Job Role Summary:

- Facilitates the implementation of Occupational Safety & Health Management initiatives including data collection and report preparation.
- Good skill in conducting hazard identification, risk assessment, and risk control (HIRARC)
- Facilitates incident investigation and/or near misses and tracks actions to completion.
- Monitors and appraises the Contractor(s)' organization, planning, execution, and drive improvement plans to close gaps in performance.
- Identifies and follows through or drives continuous improvement based on the best available standards/practices in OSH Management
- Has experience and able to conduct HSE trainings to contractor and staff
- Leverages tools to effectively and efficiently executes personnel and process safety, risk, and Emergency Preparedness and Response practices and programs.

Expected Level of Proficiency:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or other related technical fields with 5 years of working experience (preferably in the oil, gas, or petrochemical industry).
- Has experience in conducting incident investigation and Root Cause Failure Analysis
- Excellent spoken and writing in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Good in report writing.
- Proactive, team player, highly motivated, and able to work independently.
- Competency qualification or certificate in Occupational Safety Management system and progressing in SHO registeration is an added advantage.
