Laboratory Technician

**Work Location**: Batu Caves

**Job Summary**:
Laboratory Technician is responsible for laboratory and QA/QC routine activities in ensuring continuous and efficient operations to the desired productivity, quality, and safety, under the leadership of Chemist & Lab Supervisor. Carrying out daily lab operations; this includes testing finished good products/ incoming raw materials / customer complaint sample, and then reporting the results of this work.

**Responsibilities**:

- Proactively contributes to the maintenance of a healthy and safe work environment in lab.
- Responsible for perform sample register, test, record, and filling test result into LISA.
- Test samples of incoming, in-process and out-going materials at Batu Caves and samples from the outside.
- Work closely with Chemist to set-up, implementing and maintaining best practices in lab.
- Assist Chemist to manage Lab control documents and filling (COA, PDS, TDS, MSDS, etc.)
- Assist Chemist in monitoring and control of lab facilities, chemical substance and accessories used in lab.
- Assist Chemist in updating calibration plan for lab equipment used in lab.
- Assist Chemist in implementing and maintaining quality control (QC) procedure and ISO9001 compliances.
- Perform retain sample analysis according to verify product stability.
- Perform daily housekeeping and ensure the cleanliness of the laboratory is well maintained.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Good spoken & written of English/ Bahasa Malaysia.
- Experiences in analytical testing at the lab in petrochemical, biochemical or a related field.
- Computer skill.
- Possess Own Transport.
- Able to work in shift.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
