Online Counsellor/clinical Psychologist

Location: Malaysia

Job Description: (WFH online basis)

**Responsibilities**:
Provide counselling services to individuals, couples, families, or groups, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health conditions, needs, and treatment goals.

Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on clients' presenting concerns and therapeutic goals.

Conduct individual or group therapy sessions to address emotional, psychological, or behavioral issues.

Offer guidance and support to clients in coping with life challenges, relationship difficulties, stress, anxiety, depression, trauma, or other mental health issues.

Utilize appropriate therapeutic modalities and interventions to facilitate positive change and promote mental well-being.

Maintain accurate and confidential client records, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with professional standards and ethical guidelines.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive and holistic care for clients.

Stay updated with the latest research, advancements, and best practices in the field of counselling or clinical psychology.

Participate in professional development activities, workshops, and training to enhance knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:
Hold a valid registration as a Counsellor or Clinical Psychologist with a recognized professional body in Malaysia.

Minimum of 5 years of post-registration experience in providing counselling or clinical psychology services.

Fluent in Mandarin and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.

In-depth knowledge of various counselling theories, therapeutic approaches, and evidence-based interventions.

Strong assessment and diagnostic skills to accurately evaluate clients' mental health conditions.

Ability to establish a therapeutic rapport with clients, demonstrating empathy, compassion, and cultural sensitivity.

Experience working with diverse populations and addressing issues related to relationships, mental health disorders, and personal growth.

Familiarity with ethical guidelines and professional standards governing the practice of counselling or clinical psychology in Malaysia.

Excellent organizational, time management, and documentation skills.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
