IT Specialist

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide internal IT support including handling of employee queries and resolving IT-related issues in a timely manner
- Perform Desktop and Laptop setup, installation, migration and configuration
- Set up new user IT accounts and related matters
- Coordinate with vendors for desktop/laptop hardware technical and support issues
- Perform backup for IT servers and systems
- Plan and support IT project implementation, including technical review, developing server/product migration plans, change management activities and troubleshooting problems
- Update and maintain Employee intranet including publication of the IT newsletter
- Update IT Policies including on cybersecurity issues
- Provide support to any other IT and HR administrative matters as assigned, including support on employee training administration and engagement activities

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
- Professional certification (e.g. Comptia A+ 220-1001, 220-1002).
- Strong analytical, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication ability, both written and verbal.
- Personable, professional demeanor.
