Carpenter

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced **Carpenter **to join our team at our furniture factory. As a Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, contributing to the creation of high-quality furniture products.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Construct furniture pieces according to design specifications, using a variety of woodworking tools and techniques.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate measurements and assembly of furniture components.
- Select and procure appropriate wood materials, ensuring quality and suitability for each project.
- Cut, shape, and assemble wood pieces to form furniture frames, panels, and other components.
- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to provide input on product design and feasibility.
- Meet production deadlines and quality standards while maintaining a high level of craftsmanship.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior carpenters and apprentices as needed.

**Job Requirements;**
- Proven experience as a Carpenter in a furniture manufacturing or woodworking environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in measuring, cutting, and assembling wood components.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment.
- Effective communication skills and a positive attitude towards collaboration and teamwork. Good discipline and attendance with minimum unplanned leave
- Able to commence work in short notice

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
