Fae Supervisor

The Failure Analysis (FAE) Supervisor is a key leadership role responsible for managing and leading a team of engineers and technicians dedicated to identifying root causes of product failures, ensuring quality improvement, and driving corrective actions within the organization. The FAE Supervisor plays a crucial role in enhancing product reliability, customer satisfaction, and overall business success by overseeing the failure analysis process, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and implementing best practices in problem-solving and continuous improvement.

**Responsibilities**:

- Troubleshooting and analyzing the failure and map the corrective.
- Develop troubleshooting guide for the repairer of the basic methods and techniques of repair.
- Improve product yield through continuous improvement methods.
- Eliminate aging product in the process by solving the issue and fast failure analysis turnaround.
- FAE is responsible for assisting in the analysis of OOB and DOA defective machines.
- Work with quality and supplier to map corrective action for the defective part / RMA component.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee the entire failure analysis process, from initial assessment to final reporting and corrective action implementation.
- Prioritize and allocate resources to address critical failure analysis cases in a timely manner.
- Lead the team in conducting detailed root cause analyses to identify the underlying reasons for product failures or performance issues.
- Utilize a variety of tools, methodologies, and testing techniques to uncover root causes.
- Stay current with industry advancements, technologies, and analytical methods related to failure analysis.
- Provide technical guidance to the team and actively contribute to complex failure investigations.

**Requirements**:

- Strong knowledge of failure analysis methodologies, tools, and techniques, such as microscopy, spectroscopy, and non-destructive testing.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 13485, etc.) and regulatory compliance is beneficial.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools and data analysis techniques.
- Substantial experience (typically 5+ years) in failure analysis, materials analysis, or related fields.
- Advance Diploma, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, or related field). Advanced degrees are advantageous.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM7,500.00 per month
