Data Scientist

The Data Scientist works collaboratively with end users and other members of the Analytics Team to build and maintain small-to-large analytics solutions to be used across the business. The Data Scientist conducts research, design, prototyping, development, implementation and validation of cutting-edge algorithms to analyze diverse data sources, as well as to set / affect strategies needed to achieve desired business outcomes. Tasks -Preparation of data sets for exploration and visualization -Selection of advanced analytics methods and tools based on business / IT requirements -Automate selected parts of business / analytical processes by developing high quality code -Prepare reports and presentations and present data analysis workflow and results to management and colleagues -Collecting business requirements related to data analysis and data-based insights generation Skills -Advanced analytics methods: from statistical modeling through optimization techniques to machine learning methods -Python/ R -Experienced in cloud environments, especially in Microsoft Azure MS SQL Server -Azure DevOps with GIT-Communication skills and ability to explain complex technical topics to a wide audience -Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
