**Part 1 - Primary roles of the job which are measurable and may be used as part of KPIs**
- Define product strategies and road maps for each brand, including ATL, BTL, PR, digital, social media, website and all other collaterals.
- Develop integrated sales tools and collaterals with advertising agency and in-house graphic designer, including social media.
- Develop partnerships and collaborations with others to drive bigger impact of initiatives.
- Build and maintain relations with media and KOLs/social media influencers.
- Focus on 360 touchpoints of all brand and marketing initiatives.
- Track and report on brand and marketing campaigns performances and providing post-mortem reports.
- Track and report on marketing trends and analysis, and foresight on coming trends.
- Understand the competitive marketplace and implement approaches to ensure the brands stays competitive in the local marketing.
- Work with other HODs to develop annual brand marketing plans in line with group strategy, budget and targets.
- Establishes and present the yearly marketing budget to the CEO for approval and follows it strictly to minimize the Department’s expenses. Gets actively involved in finding the best solutions to optimize the Company’s profits.
- Segmentation and customization of effective plans and campaigns to reach out to target markets.
- Ensure the publicizing of marketing information to consumers in a timely manner ahead of event/promotion.
- Develop press releases and communications materials for PR events.
- Lead brand innovations pipeline, providing input in price decisions and driving executional excellence according to timeline agreed.
- Maintains a proper customer database for promotion updates. Establishes customer satisfaction surveys and reports to the related departments.

**Part 2 - Secondary roles which supports the primary roles above**
- Communicates all promotions in a timely and professional manner to the related departments by establishing weekly meetings and is responsible for their recording and distribution
- Choose the most cost-effective means to market and advertise
- Maintain smooth relationship with external and internal partners
- Manage and execute brand initiatives by working with cross functional teams
- Evaluate opportunities for partnerships, sponsorships and advertising on an on-going basis
- Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within business and industry media
- Create a library of all forms of marketing materials, including photographs
- Monitor metrics related to content, e.g. engagement rates and web traffic
- Ensure compliance with the local law (e.g. copyright and data protection)
- Conduct competitive strategic analysis, consumer segmentation, and consumer insight development
- Track and monitor marketing spend and ROI of each campaign
- Brief and train Operations & IT departments on campaigns

**Qualification**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing/Business/Advertising/Mass Communication/Social Sciences.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in mass-market marketing, with at 3 years in a supervisory role

**Experience**
- A firm understanding and appreciation of the complete customer experience, regardless of channel or medium
- Marketing sense - must possess an ability and a passion in developing campaigns that can work in retail, across channels - as well as online
- **Optical / Eye Wear background is an added advantage**:

- Familiar with online marketing such as sponsored links, social media and bloggers community
- Experience in Advertising will be an added advantage
- Experience in new product development will be an added advantage
- Creative writing skills across retail, advertising and branded solutions

**Skills & Knowledge**
- Strong time and project management skills, able to manage multiple campaigns at the same time and still able to pay attention to details
- A broad understanding of digital channels and online marketing
- Strong analytical skills
- Good business acumen
- Computer and social media savvy
- Excellent communication skills - both in verbal and written
- Independent, mature with a high level of professionalism
- Demonstrates honesty, integrity and good work ethics

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
