Supplier Research and Selection -Identifying potential suppliers and vendors for the required goods and services. -Conducting research to evaluate suppliers' capabilities, reliability, and financial stability. -Comparing quotes, terms, and conditions from different suppliers to make informed decisions. Negotiation: -Negotiating prices, terms, and contracts with suppliers to secure favorable terms for the organization. -Ensuring that the organization receives competitive prices while maintaining quality and service levels. Purchase Order Processing: -Generating purchase orders based on approved requisitions from various departments. -Verifying the accuracy of order details, including quantity, specifications, and delivery dates. Vendor Relationship Management: -Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to foster cooperation and resolve issues effectively. -Addressing any concerns or disputes that arise during the procurement process. Quality Assurance: -Ensuring that purchased goods and services meet the organization's quality standards and specifications. -Collaborating with quality control teams to address any quality-related concerns. Cost Management: -Tracking and managing procurement budgets to optimize spending and control costs. -Identifying opportunities for cost savings through bulk purchasing, negotiations, or alternative suppliers. Logistics and Delivery Coordination: -Coordinating with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services. -Monitoring the shipment and delivery process to address any delays or issues.
