Chargeman (Technician)

**Chargeman (Technician)**:
**Objective**
- To provide technical advices and recommendations to the Supervisor on issue related to operation & maintenance of LV Power Supply Systems.
- To be the competent person in handing operation and maintenance of LV Power Supply System in OBM.
- To ensure Plaint Equipment and building is properly maintained, namely, Air Conditioning Systems, Compressed Dry Air systems, City Water Systems, Sewage System, Chiller Systems, Fire-Fighting Systems and Clean Room Systems.
- To achieve operational goals, cost, uptime, 5S and safety.

**Responsibilities**

**General and Task Management**
- To comply to ensure all facility installation comply with local authorization legal requirements.
- To work closely with EHS Engineer or Staff on Plant, Production line layout to comply with OSH and Environment.
- Schedule Plant Equipment PM Activities to minimized unplanned downtime.
- Assist superior to plan and implement scheduled & unscheduled preventive maintenance for LV systems
- Assist superior to created and/or update electrical system technical information and drawings
- Familiar with Microsoft office, AutoCAD will be advantage.
- During emergency, to assess and switch off power supply at Substations if found necessary.
- To monitor and take action on Alarm from Building Management Systems.
- To make recommendation for minor improvement in facilities & environmental system and able to defects problem when occur.

**People Management**
- To ensure adequate work force to support production activates regards to electrical safety.
- Manage contractors on site so that they comply to OBM Environment, Health and Safety policy during implementation of facility installation, building upgrading works and utilities hook up for production machines.

**Financial and Budget Control**
- Maintain and forecast on critical parts and consumables.
- Monitoring of energy usage efficiency as well as propose & implement energy saving projects and cost reduction.

**Skill and Attributes**
- Ability to manage project, tasks on time with very little supervision.
- Other duties assigned by supervisors or management from time to time. To ensure that quality activities performed by incumbent and subordinates (if any) fall in line with MS ISO 9001, procedures and other activities which be organized from time to time.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma in Electrical Engineering/ Professional Qualification in Electrical Engineering
- A competent person in LV Chargeman by Suruhanjaya Tenaga certification.
- A proven record in maintaining plant facilities such as Air Conditioning Systems, Compressed Dry Air systems, Chiller Systems, Fire-Fighting Systems and Clean Room Systems. Possess own transportation.
