Mould Designer

Draft out the layout drawing for quotation purpose - Allies with R&D in 3D part related issues for mould design purpose such as adding draf, corner radius etc. Supervising progress and hands-on for new mould fabrication job. - Analyze and provide solution for effective gate location, gate balancing & mold cooling - Preparing layout for DFM discussion with manufacturing team - Creating and Modifying the Mold design in 2D&3D as per 3D part data provided by R&D and per request by the repair & maintenance section for mould improvement - Preparing & issuing details drawing and wire cut drawing for mould fabrication. - Allies with wire cut vendor to ensure the job to be done with out any error - Allies with purchasing for ordering & issuing PR for the raw materials as per the BOM list in Mould design - Allies with CNC Programmer & Mould maker in the fabrication process to ensure the mould fabricated is as per the mould drawing. - Follow-up the mould testing and provide solution for mould improvement - Analyze and provide solution to rectify existing and current mould problems. - Ensure all mould manufactured or tested meet the desired manufacturing or test specification - Preparing jigs fixture drawings as per request -Involve in 5S and other improvement activities implemented in the company from time to time. - Any other duties as assigned by immediate superior from time to time.
