**JOB OF RESPONSIBILITIES**

1. Maintain proper operation of equipment, machinery or mechanical devices, including engines, pumps, mechanical equipment or electro-mechanical devices.

2. Investigate malfunctioning equipment, machinery or mechanical devices to determine source of failure. Testing the performance of marine engines & electrical systems.

3. Replacing broken or worn-out engine parts.

4. Troubleshooting engine & electrical problems.

5. Arrange for maintenance and repair of equipment, machinery or mechanical devices, lead a team/ ship engineer crew in repair engine.

6. Develop operating and maintenance procedures for equipment, machinery, or mechanical devices.

7. Repairing faulty hydraulic & steering systems.

8. Conducting electrical AC/ DC system maintenance.

9. Completing service records & repair documents.

10. Design, test & supervise installation of mechanical or electro-mechanical devices.

11. Repair & maintain sterndrives, inboard & outboard motors, jet drives, i/o drives, stern gear, seals & hoses & propellers.

12. Install, repair, modify or maintain diesel engines, fuel system, hydraulic systems, electrical & electronics systems & marine powertrains,

13. Perform routine preventative maintenance

14. Testing the performance of marine engines & electrical systems.

15. Scraping away old paint, barnacles & debris from vessels.

16. Constructing replacement parts using drawings, saws & various hand & power tools.

17. Any other related task given by management.

**REQUIREMENTS**:
2. Must have 3 + years proven experience in a marine repair facility, electrical, propeller & shafting works.

3. Knowledgeable in marine diesel engine systems, boat systems & components, marine hydraulic systems, AC/ DC & related part.

4. Ability requirement: Welding, lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, to stand, sit & stoop for prolonged periods, ability to read & understand technical manuals.

5. Good verbal & written communication skills.

6. Computer literate: Microsoft office

7. Able to travel to project site whenever necessary.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM3,500.00 - RM7,000.00 per month

Supplemental pay types:
