CNC Machinist/ Tool Setter

**RESPONSIBILITY**
- Operate a group of CNC machines according to stipulated conditions.
- Hourly inspect parts and record critical dimensions
- Change tools according to schedule. Offset tools - identify correct dimensions, offset number and value to adjust.
- Follow procedures on takeover and handover shifts - visual check of sample parts, machine/tools condition and housekeeping.
- Examine the engineering drawing and material specification and verify the fixture and tooling used.
- Set up the machine accordingly to the process plan by Engineer.
- Check parts produced after settings meet customers’ specifications before passing on to the machine operators and machinist to handle the machine.
- Trouble-shoot and fine tune machines to operate at optimum condition.
- Reset and adjust machines if not stable.
- Continuously seek to make suggestion for improvements and cycle time management.

**REQUIREMENT**
- Minimum 2 years experience in CNC Auto-lathe machine
- Able to read engineering drawing specification (equipment/materials requirement) and program
- Able to set-up CNC Turning Machine
- Able to use measuring equipment like micrometers, vernier calipers, dial indicator and plug gauges and thread gauges
- Able to work rotating shift and Overtime

**Salary**: RM1,500.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
