SUMMARY OF ROLE

Maxeon is seeking a “Buyer - Global Indirects” to support its fast-growing business in the dynamic Renewable Energies industry. This role will be managing various Procurement-related activities for Maxeon’s global Indirects categories portfolio (e.g. IT, Consultants, temp labour, logistics, financial services, etc.). These spend categories are primarily supporting Maxeon’s corporate services, and therefore this role will require interactions with various Maxeon internal corporate stakeholders.
The “Buyer - Global Indirects” will report to the Global Indirect Sourcing Manager (based in Singapore), and will be responsible for managing “source-to-pay” activities for assigned commodities, in compliance with Maxeon’s policies and processes.
The “Buyer - Global Indirects” will ensure that (i) Maxeon gets the best value proposition from its Indirects categories’ suppliers through effective negotiation, (ii) Maxeon’s corporate stakeholders are supported on sourcing and vendor management requirements, (iii) compliance with Maxeon’s policies and processes is adhered to.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure timely execution of the end-to-end Procure to Pay process for Indirect spending, Contracts, and Services and ensure compliance with Procurement Guidelines.
Execute RFQ/RFI/Full Tender process for requested goods & services to achieve favorable results and ensure adherence to key performance metrics (where applicable). Evaluates vendor reliability and develop new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are no longer competitive Work closely with the Global Indirects Sourcing Manager/Director to ensure alignment of priorities, goals, and related activities. Interface professionally and maintain good rapport with requestors, stakeholders, and suppliers. Communicate proactively with stakeholders and cross-functional staff regarding issues and plans for resolution. Monitor cost, schedule, and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure the best quality at the best value. Check support status of assigned commodities; monitor deliveries of open PO’s; Expedite orders Monitor the status of delivery and make the necessary arrangement for those critical items. Sourcing of products/services requested by internal stakeholders. Close payment transaction issues. Communicate with Maxeon’s accounting team and giving payment information to the suppliers. Track Indirects category spend and realized cost savings Benchmarking of costs and supply; gathering supply chain information on managed categories Ensure compliance to SOX, Specifications, and other regulatory requirements relative to categories managed Attend meetings/calls and participate as needed Complies with applicable Environment, Health and Safety ,and Manufacturing Quality standards, rules and regulations, at all times. Perform other duties as assigned by direct Manager, when required Manage work priorities, timeline, and resources to ensure objectives are achieved Ensure timely execution of the end-to-end Procure to Pay process for all Indirect Procurement, Contracts, and Services while ensuring compliance with Procurement Guidelines

RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Minimum requirements Minimum 3-5 years of experience as Buyer, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Excellent communication skills, and disposed to frequently collaborate with various stakeholders Excellent negotiation skills Good presentation skills Problem-solving and organized individual, who can strive in a fast-paced working environment Familiar with ERP/Purchasing System(s) (Oracle would be a plus) Proficient in MS Office

Preferred requirements

**Education**: Preferably a graduate of Engineering or Business course
