Baker - Bread & Croissant Specialist

We're looking for a talented baker to join our team and become our resident bread and croissant champion This role is for someone with a passion for crafting exceptional loaves and flaky, buttery pastries.

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare a variety of breads, including baguettes, sourdough, multigrain, and specialty breads, using traditional methods and high-quality ingredients.
- Master the art of croissant making, from creating the perfect dough to achieving the signature layers and golden brown crust.
- Weigh and mix ingredients precisely to ensure consistent quality and texture in breads and croissants.
- Develop and maintain a sourdough starter (if applicable).
- Operate ovens and adjust settings to achieve optimal baking conditions for different breads and croissants.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all safety and sanitation protocols.
- Rotate bread and croissant stock to ensure freshness.
- May assist with training other bakers on bread and croissant production (depending on experience).

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in a bakery or restaurant kitchen, with a focus on bread and/or croissant production (required).
- In-depth knowledge of bread and croissant doughs, including fermentation techniques, shaping methods, and proofing processes.
- Ability to follow bread and croissant recipes precisely and troubleshoot any issues.
- Excellent time management skills to maintain a consistent production schedule for breads and croissants.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to achieving consistent quality in every loaf and pastry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for baking and a love of creating delicious breads and croissants.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
