Our Company is in the business of distributing medical devices and consumables and we are looking to employ a Logistics Assistant to be based in KL.

We are looking for a responsible and physically strong Logistics Assistant to assist our Operations Manager with coordinating and fulfilling deliveries. The Logistics Assistant will be responsible for receiving and unpacking stocks, completing all relevant documentations, and dispatching stocks. You should also record and report damages, breakages, major spills, and contaminations to the Operations Manager.

To ensure success as a Logistics Assistant, you should pay close attention to the timely movement of stocks to avoid losses. Ultimately, a top-notch Logistics Assistant will be able to memorize vast amounts of information to support their daily tasks and functional roles.

**Responsibilities**:

- Receiving and checking deliveries to ensure that the correct amount and type of stocks are delivered.
- Signing of delivery notes upon receipt of shipments.
Heeding notes about appropriate procedures for handling stock, particularly when fragile.
- Unpacking items and arranging these on shelves, if needed.
- Preparing our client’' orders by gathering and loading stock.
- Ensuring that the facility remains clean, sanitary, and well-organized.
- Reporting all damages, breakages and spills.
- Offer assistance to other staff in the department during lulls in your day.

**Requirements**:

- SPM higher or equivalent.
- Prior experience as a Logistics Assistant at a warehouse.
- Basic knowledge of shipping processes and metrics.
- Ability to handle and maneuver fragile stock with ease.
- Good communication, attention to details, and teamwork.
- Capacity to perform your duties diligently, particularly during stressful periods.
- Physically fit and mobile.
- GDL License preferable
- Obtain Class D Licenses (must be valid more than one (1) year)
