Hse Officer

**Company Background**

Shapadu CR Asia Sdn Bhd (SCR) is a joint venture company between Shapadu Energy Services Sdn Bhd (SES) and CR Asia (M) Sdn Bhd (CRAM). We are currently involved with Plant Maintenance and currently providing services to PRefChem in Pengerang.

**Responsibilities**
- Plan, direct, coordinate, and administer the HSE programs, standard, rules and regulations at Site
- Oversee the compliance with Accident Investigation Reporting and Record keeping as mandated by Client and other Client’s HSE rules and regulation.
- Review and investigate any incident that reflects to the performance. Provide timely report of findings and actions for evaluation and record keeping.
- Ensure that all workplaces are regularly inspected based on the potentiality of the work scope.
- Identify HSE resources necessary to rectify unsafe and unhealthy working conditions.
- Maintain the list of HSE non-compliance corrective actions items and coordinates with relevant department till completion.
- Consult and maintain liaison with Medical personnel to eliminate or control the unhealthy working condition and occupational disease hazards, and promote a total occupational health program
- Conduct regular safety meetings
- Keep a permanent record of “Manhours” spent and all injuries and damage at the site as per contractual requirements and submit them to Client and Company on monthly basis.
- Maintain records of safety audits, inspections and unsafe acts & unsafe conditions found during surveillance.
- Arrange for ‘Management Walk About’ followed by a meeting to discuss the corrective actions for the Safety deficiencies revealed during the surveillance and prepare the required action plan.
- To monitor effectiveness of scheduled waste management at all yards/site.
- To promote understanding & realization about environment to all staffs.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Safety and helath or equivalent
- Safety & Health Officer Certificate from NIOSH/NEBOSH or Certified Certification Body
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Safety & Health discipline.
- Minimum 3 years working experience at oil & gas environment.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
