**Responsibilities**:

- Routine Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance tasks such as inspecting, repairing, and replacing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose issues with building systems and equipment, identify root causes of malfunctions, and implement appropriate solutions to ensure efficient operation.
- Repair Work: Conduct repairs on building structures, fixtures, and equipment as needed. This may involve carpentry, painting, electrical work, plumbing, or other trades.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure that building systems and equipment comply with safety regulations and standards. Implement safety measures to prevent accidents and hazards within the facility.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, such as power outages, leaks, or equipment failures, and take appropriate action to resolve issues swiftly and effectively.
- Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of building systems, equipment, and facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and opportunities for improvement.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs performed, parts used, and equipment inspections. Keep maintenance logs and documentation up to date.
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of building systems and equipment. Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime.
- Vendor Coordination: Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers for specialized repairs, installations, or equipment servicing as needed. Ensure that work performed by vendors meets quality standards and adheres to contractual agreements.
- Cleaning and Janitorial Duties: Assist with cleaning and janitorial tasks as required, including trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and other general maintenance duties to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Tenant Relations: Interact with tenants, building occupants, and stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner. Address maintenance requests and inquiries promptly to ensure tenant satisfaction and maintain positive relationships.

**Qualifications**:

- Diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in building maintenance or a related field is desirable.
- Proven experience in building maintenance, repair, or facilities management.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing a variety of building equipment and fixtures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts as required.
