Export and Sales Manager

KEY ROLE : Export managers plan and coordinate the international shipment of goods; they may negotiate with a variety of people, such as shippers, agents and vendors, and are expected to have excellent customer service skills in dealing with customers. Also involved in generating and enhancing the sales of the products in other countries. They make sure that the products are made available in the international markets by analyzing the trends of the customers and developing sales plans and strategies to meet their needs. RESPONSIBILITIES : - Present, promote and sell products/services for existing and prospective customers - Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential customers to meet their needs - Consolidate order (PR) documentation - Prepare meeting and quotation for client. - Managing shipment schedule/ planning ( ensure all document in place) - Liaise with Shipping Department - Managing Collection Request/ payment follow up - Monitor on costing and costing analysis - Managing all matter related to current/future client - Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships - Reach out to customer leads through call - Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction - Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule - Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments - Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports - Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services. - Analyzing data for all prospect clients related. - Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends - Continuously improve through feedback - Manage event in Malaysia and abroad - Any duty/task requested by superior
