Sales Assistant Storekeeper

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service
- Operate cash registers, scanners, and other equipment to process customer purchases
- Accurately count money, give change, and issue receipts for transactions
- Process credit/debit card payments
- Stock shelves with merchandise and ensure displays are neat and organized
- Answer customer questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and payment options
- Maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom
- Receive, unload, and shelve supplies
- Perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labeling supplies
- Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies; report those to accounting for reimbursements and record keeping
- Rotate stock and coordinate the disposal of surpluses
- Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control in the retail store and in the factory
- Coordinate the handling of freight, assist in uploading delivery trucks and stocking shelves
- Other Ad-hoc work requested by Superior/Manager

Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience in retail outlet, storekeeping, inventory control, or recordkeeping
- Knowledge of MS Office suite and/or SQL would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of proper bookkeeping and inventory management
- Familiarity with standard concepts and best practices in a stockroom or warehouse environment
- Analytical mind with ability to make accurate mathematical computations
- Customer-centered focus
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Competencies in data entry, analysis, and management
- Keen attention to detail and ability to effectively manage time
- Skills to operate common office equipment
- Valid driver's license and willingness to acquire and maintain forklift certification (an added advantage)
- Physical ability to frequently lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 lbs

**Salary**: RM1,800.00 - RM2,300.00 per month

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Experience**:

- Sales and/or Storekeeping: 2 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- Mandarin (required)
- Bahasa (required)

Ability to Commute:

- Kuala Lumpur (required)

Ability to Relocate:

- Kuala Lumpur: Relocate before starting work (required)
