Hsse Executive

OCTAGON GROUP is currently seeking to hire talented HSSE EXECUTIVE to join our team.Octagon is a fully integrated signage company equipped with in-house capabilities from designing, manufacturing, installation and maintenance providing a one-stop end-to-end business solutions for the corporate image needs.

JOB DESCRIPTION (Job responsibilities):

- Plan, implement and review HSE activities within manufacturing plant & sites to cultivate a safe and healthy environment
- To improve the current compliance related matter to safety & health
- Create safety consciousness to all employees and emphasize responsibilities of all employees towards safety
- Involves in investigate all accident, near misses, dangerous occurrence and occupational diseases for improvement initiatives.
- Plan, implement and review Emergency Response Program
- Prepare and conduct safety orientation, training and job site procedures
- Prepare HSE related reports (yearly, monthly, weekly, or daily) needed by management
- Instill proactive HSE culture in the organization
- Assist in all audit activities (internal or external) toward company
- Conduct safety or environment audits and inspection of work areas at workplace and sites
- Other ad-hoc tasks assigned by superior Job Requirements:

- Minimum Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or any other related courses
- Possess minimum one (1) year of working practice in safety & health industry
- Good command of written and spoken English and able to write HSE reports
- Computer literate in using Microsoft Office & Microsoft Outlook
- Able to work under minimum supervision, high self-commitment and discipline
- Good leadership abilities expertise in motivating and developing people
- Analytical and good decision-making expertise
- Meticulous in carrying out inspection and audits and follow up with other functional units
- Committed and dedicated to assigned activities by the company
- Able to travel (outstation) to site work project of company as when needed

**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month

Normal working hours (8:30am - 6:00pm, Mon - Fri)
