Job Description Supervise and lead the warehouse and logistics operational teams involving receiving, warehousing management, inventory management, kitting, finished goods inventory and picking, packing and shipping. Responsible to maintain inventory accuracy with appropriate materials transactions. Responsible to monitor performance of employees, equipment, tools and employee work areas in the warehouse to ensure the warehouse work environment is safe. Responsible to maintain a high standard of housekeeping of the warehouse to ensure a lean work environment. Plan and organize the daily work activities in the warehouse to ensure the warehouse operations are running smoothly at maximum efficiency and effectiveness level. Supervise and lead warehouse and production teams in monthly warehouse’s physical inventory and cycle counts and yearly company level stock take to ensure the stock take results are up to date, accurate and reliable. Develop, implement and train direct reports on processes and work instructions to ensure operational compliance. Supervise, monitor and advise direct reports to ensure that established company policies, rules and regulations and procedures are followed. Manage daily warehouse and logistics operations, processes, workflows and manage escalation through proactive interaction with key personnel including manufacturing, planning, sales operation and supply chain teams. Promote and deliver continuous improvement processes and programs. Monitor the overall LMW process (internal and external) to ensure all statutory matters related to LMW is fully complied with Customs Act 1967 and its related laws and regulations. Acting as the first point of contact for operational escalations involving transportation, warehousing, packaging and crating issue resolution. Administer import and export custom policies, tools and guidelines in line with the company guidelines and policies to ensure company compliancy to local regulatory rules and regulations. Supervise and monitor to ensure that transportation costs are kept within budget through periodic review of freight rates and other transportation costs. Accountability To ensure the warehouse working environment and warehouse equipment are safe for employees. To ensure monthly and yearly stock take results are up to date, accurate and reliable. To ensure that direct reports follow the established company policies, rules and regulations, process and procedures and work instructions in a proper manner at all times. To ensure all statutory matters related to the company’s LMW is following the Customs Act 1967 and its related laws and regulations. To ensure transportation costs are kept within budget through periodic review of freight rates and other transportation costs. Accountable for local customs or governmental import and export statistical reporting requirements and compliance to governmental classification and regulatory licensing requirements. Accountable to monitor and verify logistics spend involving freight payment. Job Requirement Minimum Diploma or Degree in Warehouse, Logistic and Supply Chain Management or equivalent. At least 5 years’ relevant working experience in managing warehouse and logistics. Good leadership and management skills. Capable to manage a large team of warehouse and logistic staff.
