Manages the implementation and administration of health, safety, and environmental programs (HSE) within program guidelines; operates with general supervision and receives direction on complex issues.
- Partners with on-site managers to resolve related HSE problems, questions, and concerns.
- Oversees and/or collects a variety of information, performs various tests and analyses, and completes appropriate logs and documentation.
- Serves as a liaison to management when implementing new or updated HSE prevention and compliance programs.
- Performs research projects regarding operational or site programs, serves on project teams, and provides recommendations on new or existing operations.
- Assists with coordinating activities among regulatory agencies to verify compliance, resolve situations, and maintain a cooperative working relationship.
- Assists with interpreting department policies and procedures and applicable laws, rules, and regulations; ensures compliance with these areas.
**Job Requirements**
- **Bachelor's Degree in Safety Engineering, Environmental Science, or equivalent education and experience.**:
- **4 years of progressive HSE experience,** including the administration of one or more related HSE programs or equivalent experience.
- **Green book is a must.**:
- Professional EHS Certifications are a plus.
- **Must be able to work in Klang.**
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: RM7,500.00 - RM8,500.00 per month
