Educational Technologist

The Educational Technologist is responsible for supporting the college academics in utilising technology as a tool for teaching and learning. The incumbent works closely with the academics in identifying tools for teaching and learning. The incumbent is also expected to provide training sessions to academics on the latest technology tools for class delivery.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate the professional development needs of academic staff members.
- Organise and conduct training to enhance teaching and learning skills and also competencies of academic staff members.
- Plan, design, develop, and conduct training for academics on the latest technology and tools for classroom delivery.
- Provide instructional design assistance to academics in development and delivery of courses.
- Implement assessment strategies and conduct reviews and evaluations of training programmes.
- Participate in quality review processes involving academic quality across the College.

**Requirements**:

- Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in related fields of studies.
- At least 3 years of experience in conducting training.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiar with online learning management systems and the latest technology and tools for teaching and learning.
- Capable of providing technical assistance and training to academics.
- Demonstrate good communication, presentation, networking and problem-solving skills.
- Possess excellent time management skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently and also in collaborative working environment.
- Strong command of written and spoken English.
