Our Client is established in the year 2020 and has transitioned from home based ‘keto’ bakery to Central Kitchen at Ara Damansara, Petaling Jaya.
Position: Lead Baker (Production Dept/ Central Kitchen)
Location: Ara Damansara, PJ
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manages day-to-day operations of the bakery (bread) production section of the central kitchen.
- Instruct and supervise subordinates in the preparation of baked items.
- Ensure excellent quality throughout the products offerings.
- Follows proper handling and right temperature of all food products.
- Adhere to standard recipes (Keto bakery) and overseeing the daily production of bread and other baked goods at the facility.
- Experience in baking bread/ buns commercially.
- Experience with commercial food preparation in Central Kitchen is an added advantage.
- Ensuring that the kitchen and service areas are clean and tidy.
- Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Min SPM/ Diploma qualifications in any field.
- At least 3-5 years' experience in a commercial baking environment.
- Commercial food preparation experience in a Central Kitchen environment is an added advantage.
- Must be able to withstand the heat of a commercial oven for long periods of time (with break times given).
REMUNERATION PACKAGES:
**Salary**: Basic RM 3,000 to RM 3,500
**Full Time post
Working Hours
- Days: Mon-Fri, Saturday
- Half Day
- Standard Hours: Mon to Fri 8.30am to 5.30pm; Saturday 8.30am to 12.30pm (will be required to start work as early as 6.30am or 7am, finish earlier as well)
