Translator (English to Mandarin)

**Responsibilities**:

- Read through original material and rewrite it in the target language, ensuring that the meaning of the source text is retained
- Ensures high quality and relevancy of translations
- Proofread translated texts for grammar, spelling and punctuation accuracy
- Follow up with internal team members to ensure translation meets their needs
- Edit content with an eye toward maintaining its original format
- Be able to handle translations from English/Malay to Mandarin and vice versa
- To carry out any other duties as and when requested by Superior

**REQUIREMENT**:

- Preferable minimum 2 years of translation experience (English to Mandarin)
- Attention to detail combined with the ability to work quickly to meet deadlines
- Excellent Mandarin and English communication skills and command of grammar
- The ability to grasp new concepts quickly, eg technical terms
- Enjoy working in a fast paced environment
- Proficient in office software;
- Proactive, patient and meticulous, with teamwork spirit and have a strong work ability under pressure.
- Excellent Chinese listening, speaking, reading and writing skills

**Salary**: RM1,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
