Job Scope
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and vendors.
- Develop and negotiate contracts, ensuring they meet legal and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define contract terms, specifications, and performance metrics.
- Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from initiation to closure.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to contract terms and service level agreements.
- Resolve any contract-related issues and disputes in a timely and efficient manner.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to drive collaboration, performance improvement, and cost savings.
- Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and provide feedback for improvement.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contracts and supplier relationships.
- Ensure that contract terms adequately protect the organization's interests.
- Analyze procurement data to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
- Implement strategies to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
- Ensure all contracts and procurement activities adhere to relevant laws and regulations.
- Keep up-to-date with changes in procurement laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all contracts, amendments, and related documents.
- Generate regular reports on contract performance, cost savings, and compliance.
- Ensure that all other duties set by the Line Manager are being completed in a timely manner.
- Job Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPCM, CFCM) is a plus.
- Proven experience in procurement, contract management, or a related field, with a minimum of 5-6 years of experience.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to understand and draft complex contracts.
- Knowledge of procurement regulations, legal requirements, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
