Production Supervisor

**Requirements**:
- Possess a bachelor’s degree in Engineering Mechanical or Electrical.
- At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Excellent problem solving and communication skills, be able to work alone with efficient approaches and initiatives.
- Evidence of accountability in terms of procedures and report writing skills.
- Good command of both spoken and written in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Computer literate.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills in dealing with all levels of
- management and operational employees.
- Good leadership and is able to lead all the department
- A self-starter and is able to work as a team and also work independently.
- Flexible to work on shift on occasionally in event of urgency or during plant emergency requirements
- Work location will be in Port Dickson or anywhere in Malaysia.
- Willing to relocate.
- Working hours (Monday to Saturday) (8 hours/day
- **shift basis**). Alternate off day on Saturday.
**Duties and responsibilities**
1. Daily once, filling shed/hall visit is to be done, and while ongoing the rounds, Near-miss, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions are to be noted down and the same has to be reported to the in charge of the plant as well as to safety department head If any.
2. To coordinate with the operation officer/production engineer for the production, quality checks, safety, and upkeeping of the filling plant.
3. To ensure the preparation of daily cylinder inventory reports, & production data sheets. And confirm that the same is being sent to the client on time.
4. Weekly once, all the records belonging to the filling shed are to be checked and acknowledged.
5. While making a round in the filling shed, to be ensured that all the fire extinguishers are placed in their respective position or not. If not, information is to be passed to the safety officer in time.
6. To ensure, & verifying the plant operator’s attendance, and in and out time weekly once, and acknowledged.
7. To prepare the shift schedule for the operators, and operation team. (Operator shift schedule is to be prepared by the shift supervisors and the same has to be acknowledged).
8. The packed truck invoices and checklists are to be checked once a week and the same has to be acknowledged.
9. Bulk LPG loss/gain has to be reviewed daily and it has to be reported to the plant In charge.
10. Auditing Coordination is to be done. Ensure that nil points in every audit, like external safety audits, internal plant manager audits, HR/Finance audits, client audits, etc.
11. To conduct the meeting weekly, monthly, and quarterly with the plant supervisors and MOM are to be prepared.
12. Inline coordination with the production engineer and shift supervisor for the cylinder stacking and confirm it. The cylinder stacking is to be done as per the client’s requirement.
13. To monitor the LPG cylinder consumables daily, weekly, monthly & yearly basis and proper records are to be maintained as per the client’s requirement.
14. The wastage of the consumables and other LPG cylinder spares are to be segregated properly, and in coordination with the safety department, the waste disposal must be done as per our client’s requirement.
15. The percentage of the waste generated from the LPG consumables is to be accounted.
16. Every month end, the cylinder inventory must be carried out with the coordination of the Finance department, and a report is to be prepared.
17. The store inventory will be taken by the Finance department, and the same has to be verified and acknowledged.
18. The shift logbook is maintained by the shift supervisors and production engineer, and the same has to be acknowledged weekly once.
19. Suggestion schemes have been implemented, hence, suggestions for the plant improvement are to be provided.
20. To coordinate with the packed and store engineers for the smooth operation of the plant.
21. Comprehensive list of the distributors, and their trucks to be prepared and it has to be time updated as per the client’s requirement.
22. To ensure all the safety systems are online.
23. The incident and accident reports are to be prepared in line with coordination with the safety department and final approval must be obtained from the plant manager.
24. The shift schedule for the officers has to be prepared.
25. To ensure the duty rooster is being maintained by the shift supervisor and Production engineer. (this is important).
26. Leave approval for your team must be done & ensure that the leave cards are being maintained.
27. In absence of the plant manager, the permits are to be issued as per the client policy.
28. In absence of the plant manager, the responsibility of the plant manager must be taken care of.
29. The shift logbook must be reviewed daily and acknowledged.
30. SQC must be done daily. (Statistical quality control) If any deviations/discrepancies are found, immediate action is to be taken.
