Sourcing Specialist

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop suitable suppliers according to the requirements of the company and make continuous optimization (from Malaysia, South Asia and others).
- Support New RFQ for Malaysia factory, and China factory, to win more customer’s business.
- Supplier and price coordination of Project transfer from China or other sites.
- Implement the supplier development and evaluation process, develop suppliers to meet the diversified needs of customers, and constantly establish a perfect flexible and agile supply chain.
- Cooperate with business department to complete the new RFQ (NPI & Mass Production) with competitive material price. Propose alternative components to optimize purchasing cost with customer’s approval.
- Manage suppliers and improve their performance to meet SCM strategy.
- Regular Supplier visit and evaluation, build close communication and cooperation-ship with suppliers.
- As a member of Asia SCM, develop Malaysia local source to improve the price competitiveness.
- Support to resolve material shortage and quality issue for NPI project.
- Focus on market information changes, adjust procurement strategies timely, and reduce the total cost of material procurement.
- Strictly follow the procurement process and business ethics, and maintain a healthy cooperative relationship with suppliers.
- Other duties shall be performed in accordance with relevant manuals/procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor degree or above, science and technology major preferred.
- Above 5 years’ Sourcing experiences in manufacturing sites, EMS factory preferred，familiar with electronic material supply channels.
- Very good knowledge of strategic sourcing and category management of the Electronic components.
- Clear presentation skills, good communication and coordination skills, good negotiation skills.
- Reliable and proactive, teamwork sprit.
- Able to work under high stress environment.
- Good at English and Mandarin.
- Familiar with ERP is a plus.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
