Vape Development Chemist

As a Vape Development Chemist, you will be responsible for conducting research, development, and formulation of vaping products. Your expertise in chemistry will be utilized to create and improve the quality, safety, and performance of vape liquids, e-juices, and other vaping products.

**Responsibilities**:

- ** Research and Development**: Conduct research on ingredients, formulations, and manufacturing processes related to vaping products. Stay updated with the latest advancements and trends in vaping technology.
- **Formulation**:Develop and optimize vape liquid formulations, considering factors such as flavor profiles, nicotine levels, viscosity, and vapor production. Conduct experiments to ensure product consistency, stability, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- **Ingredient Selection**: Evaluate and select raw materials, flavorings, nicotine sources, and other additives for use in vape products. Ensure the safety, quality, and compatibility of ingredients.
- **Quality Control**: Establish and implement quality control measures to ensure consistent product quality and compliance with industry regulations.
- Develop and conduct testing protocols to assess the performance, safety, and shelf life of vaping products.
- **Regulatory Compliance**:Stay abreast of relevant regulations and standards governing the production and labelling of vaping products.
- Ensure that all formulations and manufacturing processes comply with applicable laws and guidelines.
- **Collaboration**:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product design, and manufacturing, to bring new vaping products to market.
- Provide technical expertise and support throughout the product development lifecycle.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate and detailed records of research, experiments, formulations, and product specifications.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- **Safety and Compliance**: Adhere to strict safety protocols and guidelines in the laboratory.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Follow established procedures for handling, storing, and disposing of hazardous chemicals and materials.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, and chemical engineering principles.
- Experience in the development and formulation of vaping products is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with the properties and behavior of common vape liquid ingredients, such as propylene glycol, vegetable glycerin, nicotine, and flavorings.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and safety standards applicable to vaping products.
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques, equipment operation, and data analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
