Direct Clinical Duties
- Assess, plan, direct and evaluate total nursing care as determined by the patient’s age related physical, psychosocial and cultural needs in accordance with established standards, policies and procedures of KLSMC’s family medicine clinic.
- Provides case management by being a patient advocate, resource and contact person for patients. Acts as a liaison person between Physician / consultant and patient / relative when necessary.
- Provides basic education information to patients and family, focusing on self-care appropriate to their age and identified learning considerations and needs. Provides pre and post-operative care information appropriately.
- Administers medications and intravenous solutions skillfully and correctly and performs lab / diagnostic testing as ordered by provider and reports all critical lab values immediately.
- Anticipates and prepares examination room with equipment and supplies required for the visit. Assist Physician / Consultant with examination and procedures as per request.
- Utilize universal precautions in obtaining specimens (venipuncture, cultures, etc.) and in delivery of patient care. Performs lab testing (i.e. urine dip, pregnancy test, strep screen etc.) including quality controls and maintains all lab / diagnostic test logs.
- To give assistance to cover other clinics/branches when needed
- Carry out any other duties deemed appropriate by superiors/Management.
- Be responsible for self-development by participating in clinical training/education
- Ensures that all incidents and accidents are reported to the Nursing Supervisor

**Requirements**:

- Certified SRN/AN.
- Registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board
- Have registered for a APC
- To work in Clinic, Operating Theatre & Ward
- Applicants must be Malaysian citizens
- Preferable with working experience of 1 to 2 years in a related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

**Salary**: RM2,300.00 - RM3,100.00 per month
